William's father forces him to attend a ball, where he is reintroduced to Eleanor, who happens to be making her debut into society, but Emma is still in on his mind...
William's friend, Prince Hakim, arrives for a visit and takes William on an impromptu elephant ride that leaves the Londoner motion sick. Luckily, Kelly Stowner's residence is near by, so he can recover, but will he find himself with an unexpected rival for Emma's attention?
By chance, William and Hakim run meet Emma at Mudie's lending library.
